A retired photographer, Dan has worked both freelance and as in-house photographer for a global engineering firm.  His work included a wide variety of commercial assignments up and down the country, as well as quality weddings and portraits.  Dan also presented a wide range of training events, including flower photography courses for Leicester University and leading landscape groups in the Lake District.  In the days of film, his courses were supported by Kodak, Ilford and Polaroid. His principles of composition were published in the international magazine PIC (people In Camera), published in new York, USA and his landscapes have been exhibited several times in local galleries.

In retirement, Dan captures landscapes, enjoys travel photography and sometimes shoots portraits with professional models as well as leading occasional guided photography walks around Olney.  As an ex-professional photographer, with experience of the music industry, Dan enjoys helping musicians with professional publicity photographs.
