this short film of Amazing Grace music shows photographs by Dan Evans of Olney in Buckinghamshire, England, near Milton Keynes ~ Olney is the home of Amazing Grace, the words for which were written by John Newton РNewton and Cowper collectively wrote the Olney Hymns, of which Amazing Grace is perhaps the best known

the film shows: i) Cowper’s Alcove, where it is thought the hymns were written ii) St Peter & St Paul church, where John Newton preached, iii) the Cowper & Newton Museum, which celebrates their lives and, lastly, iv) landscapes of Olney featuring the church tower

the dulcimer music is from two of Dan’s CD albums: ‘Let It Be Me’ CD (2010) track 2 ‘Amazing Grace & The Late Lesson’ and ‘Au Vieux Moulin’ CD (2014) track 6 ‘Amazing Grace’
