Auld Lang Syne film+TAB

Auld Lang Syne film+TAB

my instrumental arrangement of this traditional Scottish tune

Auld Lang Syne is a popular song which is traditionally sung to bid farewell to the old year at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, especially in Scotland where the turning of the year celebrated as Hogmanay – as a song, the words are a poem written by Robert Burns but based on an older Scottish folk song

played here fingerstyle and sprightly on my Doug Berch mountain dulcimer in Ionian tuning EBB (DAA but in key of E)
