Nashville concert ~ part 3 ~ with Stephen Seifert

Nashville concert ~ part 3 ~ with Stephen Seifert

after playing solo in my concert for Nashville’s Grand Old Dulcimer Club in the Turner Hall, Nashville, I was joined by the brilliant dulcimer player Stephen Seifert, whereupon we improvised several duets off the cuff, with no preparation whatsoever

here are our improvisations on Pachelbel’s Canon in D, the Austrian waltz Varsoviana and the Beatles’ Let It Be, composed by Paul McCartney and John Lennon and from their album Let It Be

I was playing my Doug Berch mountain dulcimer in DAA with Boss DD-500 delay FX and my Andy Viccars electric mountain dulcimer, also in DAA with boss GT-1 FX – Stephen’s dulcimer would doubtless have been tuned to DAD

thanks to Linda Paulus for some excellent still images of Stephen & I
