South Wind film

South Wind film

officially called The South Wind, this is an old Irish folk song about homesickness

it is thought to be based on a traditional Irish fiddle tune dating back to the 1700s

the late Roger Nicholson and I used to play this as a duet – but this is a new Appalachian dulcimer arrangement in DAA tuning
