The Rose film

The Rose is a pop song written by Amanda McBroom – Bette Midler made the song famous when she recorded it for her film The Rose, in which it plays during the closing credits

It has been recorded many times by other artists including Conway Twitty and Westlife

arranged here for dulcimer and performed on my Martin Cole Appalachian dulcimer in DAA tuning

a nice performance and professional recording of this song can be found on my Let It Be Me CD album (DSM6 / 2010)
